Why does a casino suddenly stop accepting players from my state?
Because the operator stopped accepting play from your state. We do not know what prompts any particular withdrawal and we do not treat it as a legal event — we record the change when we see it, and the availability log is where those changes are dated.
This is the main reason we treat your state as a filter rather than a topic. Any list of who accepts where is a snapshot, and ours is no exception.

What usually happens to your balance
What happens to a balance you already hold is set by that operator's own terms, and it differs between them. We do not record those terms, so read the notice the site itself gives you rather than relying on a general rule from us.
If this happens to you, redeeming sooner rather than later is the practical move, even if you're below what you'd normally wait for.
Why our data can be wrong about this
We record what an operator says about where it accepts players, with the date we recorded it. We do not get advance notice of changes.
So the state filter in the finder is best read as "as far as we know, on this date". Every recommendation card shows that date for exactly this reason.
The tradeoffs
- Filtering by state gives you a shorter, more useful list. It also gives you a list that can be wrong the day after we check it.
