Everything the finder uses to decide, written out. If a rule isn’t on this page it isn’t in the product — the table below is generated from the same records the engine runs, so it can’t drift out of date.

The rules

The shaded slots are where your answer and the recorded value are dropped in. Must-haves exclude. Preferences carry a weight and earn full, half or no credit. A casino’s position is the share of your total weight it earned; below 45% we call it no strong fit. A preference only enters that arithmetic when its recorded value carries the evidence its status requires; otherwise the card marks it unconfirmed and it counts neither way.

Why some of them are withdrawn

The withdrawn rules read the two fields that describe how an operator takes money in: the routes it accepts, and whether crypto is one of them. They run only when every profile the finder can return carries both, read from the operator’s own published words — and it does not. A must-have that reads an empty field does not become cautious, it becomes a filter that removes the whole list because of a gap in our records — and the same empty field will hand out a positive answer just as readily, which is how a card came to say a site took crypto on the strength of a guess. So those rules are not run, and the questions they served are not asked. They stay printed above because this page is the rule set, not a summary of the parts that happened to be working.

They come back together, and only on evidence. The moment every profile in the finder carries both fields, taken from the operator’s own published words with the source and the date it was read attached, the rules are live again and the questions return with them. An unverified guess will not do it; neither will the words “operator published” with nothing underneath them; neither will a source that does not say the same thing the record says; and neither will one sourced profile among the rest, which would put the must-have back and then exclude every casino we still had not read.

Tie-breaks

Casinos on the same score are ordered alphabetically. That is deliberately the most boring rule we could pick: any tie-break that looked like a judgement would be one, and we didn’t want a hidden preference smuggled in under the word “tie”.

Missing data counts against a must-have

If you set something as a must-have and we don’t have that attribute recorded for a casino, the casino is left out and told to you as “we don’t know” rather than shown as a maybe. On a non-negotiable, “unconfirmed” isn’t good enough. On a preference, missing data is simply not counted either way — it neither helps nor hurts.

That is how every rule on this page behaves, with one exception, and the exception has a stricter bar rather than a looser one. The two fields describing how an operator takes money in are gated on their own evidence: the rules reading them run only when every casino the finder can return carries both, sourced. Anything less and they are withdrawn — because a must-have the records cannot answer across the board empties the list on a gap in our data rather than on anything about the casinos, and the same empty field will hand out a positive answer just as readily. That is what happened to the payment rules above.

The two judgement calls

Most attributes are facts an operator publishes. Two are classifications we make, so the rubric is here rather than summarised as a score.

Interface complexity

Plain and easy to find your way around. The switch between the two balances is visible without hunting for it, the lobby shows a manageable number of things before you choose anything, and the redemption process can be found before you need it.
Busy but manageable. One of those three is awkward — usually the lobby — but nothing is hidden and a patient first-timer gets there.
Packed with options. Two or more are awkward: carousels several screens deep, promotional overlays on arrival, or a balance toggle that isn't obvious on a phone.

Library breadth

Small and easy to browse. You could reasonably see everything it offers in one evening.
Reasonably wide. More than you'd get through quickly, but the lobby is still navigable by hand.
Very large. Search and filters are the only practical way in.

We don’t publish a game count, because we do not track catalogue sizes and a stale number looks more precise than a band while being less true.

Evidence, and how confident we are

About this data: Heads up: the fit details behind these recommendations — what a site offers, how big its library is, how cluttered it is, whether there's an app — are provisional on every profile we hold. We haven't confirmed them against each operator's own published information, and we've marked them that way rather than letting them look more solid than they are. Whether you can play without paying sits between the two: it is one of the fields the scoring reads, and on most profiles the value is one nobody has confirmed. Operator facts are different, and they are uneven: where a card shows a minimum age, how the free entry route works, whether coins can be bought, what the operator calls the product, or a rule about VPNs or extra accounts, that line was read from that operator's own document and carries its source and the date it was read. Where a card shows none of those, we hold none — the gap is the claim. One thing we do hold for every site the finder can return is its excluded-state list, read from that operator's own document; a card does not print it, but it is what your state answer is checked against. What that means and how it gets fixed.

Every attribute carries a status: operator-published (read from the operator’s own page, with a source and a date), internal-observation (something we recorded ourselves, which nothing currently is, with a date), or unverified. Unverified fields never earn fit credit.

Right now the statuses present in the dataset are: operator-published, unverified. They are not spread evenly, and which side of the line a fact falls on matters a great deal more than the headline. The two lists below are generated from the records themselves, so sourcing a field moves it between them rather than leaving this paragraph behind to be corrected.

Read from an operator document

Transcribed from the operator’s own rules, terms or help pages, with the source and the date it was read stored on the value itself. 15 such documents are cited by a value, each listed in the next section, read on 2026-08-21. That section counts 16 rows as operator documents rather than 15. The difference is one document we read that no value on a profile is taken from, so nothing cites it: LuckyLand Slots (luckyland-not-available). Most of these fields are optional, so the count after each one is against the profiles that record it at all, not against all 12 — a field one profile ships is not eleven profiles we failed to source.

Not one profile carries an operator document for any of these. The values are seeds we recorded so there would be something to score against, they are marked unverified in the record, and they are what the notice above is about.

That split runs straight through the rules above, which read 9 of these fields between them. Document-backed: whether you can play without paying, the states it says it will not take. Provisional: whether crypto is accepted, daily free coins, which kinds of game it offers, how cluttered the interface is, how big the library is, how money goes in, phone apps and browser support. Being on the first list is not a promise about every profile, and it is not a promise about how the rule behaves either. One rule judges a casino on an evidence status: the state check treats a list not read from an operator document as something we do not know, which on a must-have leaves the casino out. That is a different mechanism from the gate above, which reads evidence to withdraw a rule from everybody rather than to decide anything about one casino. Every other rule reads the recorded value whatever its status, so an unverified seed earns the same credit a sourced fact would. The notice above stands on exactly that: a card can say a site has a free way in, and mean a value nobody has confirmed.

Where a page could not be read, the field stayed on the second list rather than being filled in from somewhere else. Moozi’s terms and rules pages are JavaScript shells and were not scraped as facts; Funrize’s section 3.4 is not shipped for the same reason. Nothing here cites a page nobody opened, and nothing here is marked confirmed because it looked plausible.

Anything older than 120 days is flagged on the card itself as worth re-checking, rather than quietly ageing.

What can’t affect any of this

Commercial relationships. The scoring code cannot import the affiliate registry, non-partner casinos are eligible on identical terms, and a test changes the commission figures and fails if any result moves. The full commercial disclosure.

When the rules change

The version number goes up. It appears on every recommendation card and in every copied result, so a shortlist you saved can be traced to the rules that produced it. Weights are not tuned to make particular casinos rank better; if a weight changes, it’s because the reasoning changed, and the version records that it did.
