Privacy
Your finder answers never leave your browser. There is no account, no login, and no server that receives what you picked.
Where your answers live
- In this browser’s local storage, under one key, so a refresh doesn’t lose your place. The “clear everything” button removes it.
- In the address bar, as ordinary query parameters, so you can bookmark or share a run. That means anyone you send the link to sees the answers in it — which is the point, but worth knowing.
That’s the whole list. The recommendation is calculated where you are, not somewhere else and sent back.
What we never ask for
Your name, address, date of birth, income, debts, bank or card details, how much you’ve lost, government ID, or anything about your personal history. None of it would make a recommendation better, and asking would make this a data-collection product instead of a useful one.
The one personal-ish thing the finder asks is your state, it’s optional, and it is used for exactly one thing: leaving out casinos that say they don’t accept players from there. How that filter works.
Measurement
There is no analytics provider connected to this site. The code has a neutral interface ready for one, and until something is registered against it, nothing is recorded anywhere.
If one is ever connected, this is the complete list of events it could receive — no answer values, no state code, nothing you typed:
| Events | Fields an event may carry |
|---|---|
| finder_start, finder_step, finder_complete, no_match_result, recommendation_expand, question_view, scenario_view, copy_recommendation, affiliate_click | stepIndex, stepCount, preferenceId, casinoId, slug, resultCount, ruleVersion, shareVariant |
Anything not in the right-hand column is dropped before an event is sent, in code, rather than by convention.
Cookies
None. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not a consent banner about cookies we don’t set. Local storage is used for the one purpose described above and is cleared by the reset button.
Links out
When you click through to a casino you’re on their site under their policies, and they will collect far more than we do. That’s worth reading before you sign up anywhere.
Honesty about this page
This is a plain-language description of how the software actually behaves, written by the people who built it. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not a substitute for a formal policy if this site ever collects anything — which, today, it does not.
